Erick All – Top TE/REC in Ohio Class of 2019

I evaluated TE Erick All his sophomore year at Fairfield High School, but was more concerned about their two big linemen – Jack Carman and Malik Vann.  Caught the ball well in warmups. But skinny. Did have the height.

Watched Erick’s HUDL Hi-lites last winter. Guessin he measured about 6’3-190. Excellent hands his junior year. Caught 28 balls for 335 yards. But on his video, he blocked all of the time. A skinny kid with talent, who actually looked for defenders to block. He blocked and did it well.

Fairfield HS won the Toledo 7on7 yesterday and Erick had much to do with those wins.

Going into his senior year, he now weighs 220. Still needs to get to that tight end size, but he should do it. He is long and slender. Runs really well. Excellent ball catcher. At the OSU camp, some of his catches were “Oh my” ones, especially some red zone catches. Speed to get deep on seam routes.

Needs to get in and out of routes better. Like his speed, but he needs to play more under control at times. Needs to be better disciplined on his cuts.

Erick is natural leader from what I see. Lets his actions do his talking. Of course, he is a difference maker on the field. Redefining his body over the winter really helps that leadership role.

No one talks defense for the next level, but he could be an edge player. Excellent quickness and initial burst off the edge. Toughness is there. But for now – more a tight end prospect.

Penn State and Michigan seem to be the most serious recruiters. That is just what I hear from his coach, Jason Krause. But where he goes to school is not my problem. Both schools want to “move him around.”

I see Erick moving around on offense. See him more like former receiver Michigan receiver Devin Funchess. Good enough to play wide on occasion. Eventually will add weight. Excellent hands. Maybe best of all, he will look for players to block.

Wishing Erick All well. He is the MSR top TE prospect in the Ohio 2019 Class of 2019.

Also – Keep an eye on 6’3-205 senior QB Jeff Tyus. Needs some fine tuning, but see potential in him. Junior RB JuTahn McClain needs get a little bigger, but has excellent speed. Good prospect in Ohio 2020 Class.
